Wanda Darlene Vance, 75, of Parkersburg, WV passed away March 11, 2020 at her daughters’ residence. Wanda was born May 28, 1944 in Parkersburg, WV to Curtis Etsel and Gertrude {Stull} Cline. She was a clerk at Wonder Shoe Store and then retired from the Bureau of Public Debt after 40 + years as a Bond Clerk. She attended The Word of God Ministries and was a member at the Blennerhassett Church of The Nazarene. She loved Gospel Music and spending time with her family. Wanda will be deeply missed by her son, Dion W. (Sherry L.) Vance of Belpre, OH, daughter, Tina D. (Patrick T.) Allen of Parkersburg, brother, Denver Curtis Cline of Parkersburg, grandchildren, Joshua Allen, Audrionna Allen, Sara Vance, Samantha Vance, great grandchildren, Eri Allen, Ender Allen and special companion, Lenord Lowers. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and companion Clayton Young. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Danny Ahart officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
