Evelyn Richards, 85, of Syracuse passed away peacefully March 10 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She sang in the church choir and was very involved in the choir and church activities. She was predeceased by her husband Wendell.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Steven (Jayne) Richards, Carol (Tom) Chekan, Jim Richards; four grandchildren, Sharlene, Zoe, Lindsey & Alex and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours Thursday March 26 from 4 to 7pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm Burial will be in the Spring at Maple Grove Cemetery in Candor, NY. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
