West Lebanon - Anna Lee Daniels, 77, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 11, 2020 surrounded by her family.
She was born October 16, 1942 in Hanover, NH to Beatrice M. (Tobin) and Clifford D. Griswold. A life-long resident of the Upper Valley, Anna attended Lebanon High School with the Class of 1960 and continued her education throughout the years at Lebanon College.

Anna married Richard Daniels in 1961 and together in 1966 Anna and her former husband established RSD Transportation Inc., of which she was President and Treasurer. In 1978 she developed a love for real estate and obtained her Realtor and Broker Licenses in NH and VT. For the next 17 years she worked for Century 21 and was an award-winning Realtor in the Upper Valley. Anna was a past President of the Lebanon Emblem Club #358, also serving as Treasurer for several years.
Anna enjoyed line dancing, bowling, playing cards and games. She particularly loved cribbage and enjoyed schooling her family and friends at the game. She also enjoyed watching the Red Sox and Bruins and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and particularly loved the game of hockey which they all participated in.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Julie (Jeff) Lyford of Enfield NH, Lynn (Tim) Pierce of Hartland Four Corners, VT; grandchildren, Dillan (Danielle) Pierce, Jennifer Lyford, and Jeffrey Lyford II; the newest addition to the family, great grandson, Easton; brothers, James E. Griswold and Daniel E. Griswold; and many more dear family members and friends.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Robert T. Daniels, and siblings, Elizabeth Abbott, David A. Griswold, Donald Griswold, Clifford Griswold and Ellen Paterson.
Her daughters would like to thank her Drs. and their staff at DMH, the VNA of VT/NH and all of her friends at Quail Hollow where she lived for the past 14 years.
A Memorial Service was held at Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon, NH on Monday, March 16, 2020.
