Her husband, an ex-convict from England, was transported to Australia for burning a farm house - with people in it. He was granted his leave and married Annie in 1870. Her husband later used a shot gun to kill the neighbours wife (Kathleen or Catherine WALDOCK (née FLETCHER) 1855-16 Sep 1885, who's only "crime" was that she failed to elope with him - but Henry had come with another friends shotgun and shot Katherine in the back as she walked away, in front of two of her sons ("Billy" & "Tommy").

Henry Walter SHERRY was hanged for his crime 27 Oct 1885 at Perth Goal. Daughter Emily SHERRY was born after her husband was hanged.

Annie later remarried the widowed neighbour of the victim, John WALDOCK (1843-1900).

Gravesite Details

Expired. Section "renewed" by cemetery in about 2012 and all headstones removed and new burials placed around existing ones. Now known as Section ANFC since "renewal".
