Thomas “Pat” Walters, age 65 of Newport, NC, formerly of Laurinburg passed away Monday, March 9, 2020.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Multitudes Church. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Pat was born November 30, 1954 in Scotland County, a loving son of Mildred Williams Walters and the late Lawrence Thomas “LT” Walters. He loved his work as an onsite staffing specialist with Partners Personnel. His family will always remember him as a devoted husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and friend.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Walters.
Pat is survived by his wife, Terri Rash of the home; sons, Thom Walters (Jeri Lynn) of Wagram, Rev. Glenn Walters (Emily) of Charlotte; and daughter, Kasey Norton (Michael) of Charlotte; his mother, Mildred Williams Walters, of Laurinburg; grandchildren, Patrick Walters, Joshua Walters, Noah Walters, MeKendyn Walters, Micah Norton, Caleb Norton, Andrew Norton; father and mother-in-law, Burl and Joyce Snyder, along with his nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday March 12, 2020 at Multitudes Church.
