Patricia Frances Molony Babb, 80, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and raised in Lancaster, Ohio and Cincinnati, was the devoted daughter of the late Saloma Brewer Molony and William Francis Molony; cherished wife of the late Leonard Babb; loving mother of Kathleen "Kate" (Thomas) Shone and Michael Babb; adoring grandmother of Juliet Harper Shone; beloved sister of Ann Desmond of Toledo, Ohio, Eileen Fries of Cincinnati, and the late Daniel Molony of Norwood; dear sister-in-law of Margaret and Raymond "Buddy" Babb of Hyde Park, Janet Molony of Norwood, and the late David W. Fries and Marshall Desmond; and precious aunt and great aunt of many. Pat was a graduate of St. Mary's High School ('55) in Cincinnati and Mercy School of Nursing ('58) in Toledo. From 1960 to 1970, she worked at The Christ Hospital, where she served with excellence as head nurse of neurosurgery. Pat was a member of Saint Stephen Church. She donated her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Memorial Mass will be held at Saint Stephen Church, 3804 Eastern Ave., Saturday, September 9 at 11am. No visitation.
