Kenneth Peters, Sr. was born February 17, 1945 in Knox County, Kentucky and passed away March 11, 2020 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 75. He was the son of the late Hubert and Sallie Warren Peters.
On June 15, 1963 Kenneth was united in marriage to Cora Ruth Bays Petres. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters: Lisa Anne Cramer of Dry Ridge and Shawna Renee Peters of Independence; a brother: Cecil Peters of Union; 5 sisters: Alma Smith of Barbourville, Freida Todd of Corinth, Ann Mills of Flat Lick, Carolyn Sue Bright of Flat Lick, and Tammy Richmond of Barbourville; and 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Kenneth was a retired self employed window cleaner and a member of the Violet Ridge Church of Christ. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved mechanic work, especially small motor repair. He also enjoyed spending his free time thrift shopping and making lamps.
Funeral services will be 12:30 PM, Monday, March 16, 2020 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown. Visitation will be 10:30 - 12:30 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Crittenden Cemetery.
