Schaene “Sue Ann” Bromwell Essex, 64, of Dillsboro, Indiana, died Saturday, March 7, 2020, from injuries she sustained from an automobile accident in Dillsboro.
She was born November 29, 1955, in Madison, Indiana, to Bradley Bromwell and Mildred L. “Minnie” Smith Ackerman-Bromwell. She was raised in Richmond, Indiana, and graduated high school there. She was employed for the US Shoe Factory in Vevay, Indiana, for a few months and enjoyed spending time with her dogs and cats.
Survivors include her half-sisters, Cathy Susan Ackerman Hart of Vevay, Indiana, and Ann Bromwell of Columbus, Indiana; a stepbrother, Patrick Collier of Vevay; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Gretta Lee Pratt Bromwell; a half-brother, John “Terry” Ackerman; and her stepsister, Lee Ann Moore.
Private family graveside services will be at 1 p.m., Monday, May 4, in the Vevay Cemetery there.
