Mrs. Sarah Margaret Morton passed from life late Tuesday evening, March 10, 2020, in Lufkin. She was 82 years of age, 11 months, and 2 days.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2020, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, 316 West Columbia Street, San Augustine, Texas, with Bro. Mike Belgard officiating.

Visitation will be held Saturday morning, March 14, 2020, from the hours of 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Simpson Campground Cemetery located off County Road 411 in Woden, Texas.

Sarah Margaret was born to the late Marie (Bradley) Murray and Amos Murray on April 8, 1937, in Cleveland, Texas. She was retired from Lawndale Chemical where she was a volume analyst. She was a member of the Chireno Baptist Church in Chireno.

Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, Charles Wayne Morton of San Augustine; daughter, Fonda Morton of San Augustine and her beloved grandchildren, Courtney Wick; Layne Morton and Grace Morton all of San Augustine.

Pallbearers will include David Murray, Jr., David Smith, Jeremy McCauley, Dennis Lee, Dwayne Bennett, Tommy Mooney, Derrell Gardner, and John Apollo.
