Deborah Elaine White Ray-Foster, age 63, of Cedar Bluff, VA passed away at home on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

She was born January 23, 1957 in Richlands, VA and was the daughter of Ruth Clifton White Gauldin of Martinsville, VA and the late Henry Starling White. She was a graduate of Whitewood High School Class of 1975 and a SWCC graduate. Deborah worked as a draftsman for Marshall Miller Associates in Bluefield, VA for many years. She was a resident of the Russell County, VA area for 30 years and she attended Calvary Lighthouse of Honaker, VA She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Michael Stephen Ray; and her son, Gregory Michael Ray.

In addition to her mother, those that remain to carry on her spirit are her:

Jerry White and wife, Pam of Nashville, TN

Three half-brothers:
Eddie Gauldin of Lebanon, VA
Roy Gauldin of Swords Creek, VA
Chad Gauldin of Martinsville, VA

Several Nieces and nephews also survive along with a host of family and friends.

Funeral services for Deborah Elaine Ray-Foster will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Mike Ryan officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Danny Foster, Michael French, Brandon Foster, Derrick Rasnick, Archie White, Greg Foster, James Osborne and Cody Foster. The Foster family will receive friends from 6-9 pm on Thursday evening at the funeral home.
