She married Joseph J. Brungardt on Sept. 12, 1938, in Victoria. He died June 19, 1966.
She married Frank Jacobs on July 27, 1972, in Victoria. He died June 8, 1983.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Secular Franciscan Order, Christian Mothers, all of Victoria.
Survivors include five sons, Joseph M. Brungardt. Topeka, Kenneth F. Brungardt and his wife, Bertha R., Victoria, Richard A. Brungardt, Syracuse, Ind., Robert I. Brungardt and wife, Shirley, Walker, and Edward J. Brungardt, Victoria; two daughters, Arlene Jones and husband, Mike, Bourbon, Mo., and Theresa Christian, Julian, Ga.; three stepsons, Ben Jacobs, St. Petersburg, Fla., Robert Jacobs, Santa Ana, Calif., and James Jacobs and wife, Virginia, Hays; two stepdaughters, Bridget Diehl, Hays, and Ann Steiger, Oklahoma City; a brother, Edmund Befort and wife, Albina, Hays; 15 grandchildren; 33 step grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and 12 step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Regina Richards and Mary Ann Cushing; two stepsons, Alfred Jacobs and Ralph Jacobs; two stepdaughters, Barbara Terenzi and Wilma Jacobs; three brothers, Isidore Befort, John Befort and August Befort; four sisters, Victoria Herklotz, Adelida Engel, Domitilla Pfannenstiel, Clarita Koerner, and an infant sister, Aegida Befort; and an infant granddaughter, Tonya Rose Leiker.
