Gregory Dale Mathews, born March 8, 1960 in Florala, Alabama moved to his heavenly home at the age of 53 in Crestview, Florida. Greg worked as a journeyman machinist, a job that he was blessed with a talent for and excelled in. Having accepted Christ as his personal savior, he moved on to a better place with a healthy body, a place full of happiness and joy, a happiness that was reflected in the smile he wore most any time you saw him. His smile was contagious and certainly matched his loving heart. Everything he did, he did with passionate enthusiasm that he wanted to share with everyone around him. If he loved it, he wanted you to love it too! He loved to share stories about hunting and his dogs. His love for the outdoors was only exceeded by his love for family and friends. He was a kind soul, who never met a stranger. His tremendous personality will be missed by all who knew him, but will live on in the numerous memories we hold dear in our hearts.
