Charles Blake Brantley, 67, of Peachtree City, formerly of Griffin, husband of Rebecca Biles Brantley died Monday, March 9, 2020 at his home.

Born in Atlanta, October 17, 1952, he was a son of the late Blake B. Brantley, Jr. and Sara Chambers Brantley. He was a banker for most of his life and worked for several area banks. He had formerly served in Spalding County and Griffin for many various community organizations in numerous capacities throughout his life.

Mr. Brantley was a member of First Baptist Church of Griffin.

Surviving in addition to his wife of forty-four years are a son, Stephen B. Brantley and wife Christie of Atlanta; daughter Elizabeth Brantley of Griffin; and grandson, Brooks Brantley of Atlanta.

A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home with Mrs. Rhonda Pierce officiating. Burial will follow later in Westwood Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Griffin, GA, Endowment Foundation, INC., Mathis Music Enrichment Fund, PO Box 908, Griffin, GA 30224.
