MRS. PIERCE
Services for Mrs. Jessie M. Pierce, 67, were held Monday from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Rev. Herbert Hogue officiated. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Pierce died Saturday in the Golden Triangle Medical Center in Columbus. She was born and reared in Nashville, Tenn., had made her home in Noxubee County the past 10 years and was a member of the Catholic Church. She was the wife of the late R. C. Pierce.
Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Hattie Hammond of California, Mrs. Mabel Perkins of Collinsville, and Mrs. Mildred Gray of Philadelphia; on brother-in-law, David Warren of Bessemer, Alabama; two nieces, Jean and Janice Hammond of California.
Pallbearers were: Ben Graber, Carrol Skinner, Ralph Gray, W. R. (Buck) Peden, Bob Calvert and Ricky Skinner.
