Betty Reid, 84 of Princeton died Sunday, March 8, 2020. Betty was formerly of Williamson, West Virginia where she was a charter member of Grace Baptist Temple. She retired from the Mingo County Board of Education and moved to Princeton in 1996 to be with her daughter and granddaughters. Betty was a member of Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton where she was very active with the Care and Share Ministry. She was an avid WVU Mountaineer fan but will always be remembered as the ultimate Williamson Wolfpack fan and a true Democrat.

Born September 21, 1935 in Williamson, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Sidney Stollings (Deceased) and Ora Morgan-Stollings (Deceased). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James B. ”Jim” Reid (Deceased); one son, James “Brother” Reid (Deceased); and two brothers, Kenneth Stollings (Deceased) and Bill Stollings (Deceased).

Betty is survived by her daughter, Terri Reid-Williams of Princeton; two granddaughters, Sydney Williams and Shea Williams, both of Princeton; many nieces, nephews, special family members and friends. Special thanks to Shannon, Terri, Wilma J., Sandi and Kagne for their excellent care and compassion.

A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Fairview Christian Community Church in Princeton with Rev. Larry Dyer and Rev. Blake Bivens officiating. Friends may visit with the family Saturday, March 14, 2202 at the church from 3:00 p.m. until the service hour.
