Born in Elberton, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Amos Moss and Nina Page Moss.
Betty was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are a daughter, Anne Parsons Powers; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Tracy Parsons; a sister, Barbara Dean; and three granddaughters, Maylyn Parsons, Sarah Powers, and Hannah Powers.
She was preceded in passing by her husband, Nathan Louis Parsons; and her sisters, Vivian M. Turner, Carolyn M. Elrod, Linda M. Martin, Beverly M. League, and Shelba M. Grillmeier.
