Mr. Walters was a native of Long Beach, Mississippi. He served his country in the United States Air Force. After his military service he worked for the United States Postal Service and he also served as the Regional Union Steward. In his free time he loved to visit his grandkids and his best friend Willie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas G. Walters, Sr. and Dorothy Sanders Walters; and daughter, Amy Michelle Walters.
He is survived by three children, Thomas Damon Walters, Tina Branaman (Leonard), and Rachel Walters Lewis (Billy); and nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Courtney, Laura, Leonard Jr., and Aidan Branaman, Michael, Trista, and Gazrielle Lewis, and Aryonia Walters.
Cremation has been entrusted to RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Long Beach, Mississippi.
Mr. Walters will be laid to rest at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens at a future date.
