CHARLENE PEREZ "CHARLIE" FORMERLY OF HOBART, IN
Charlene "Charlie" Perez of Troy, MI (formerly of Hobart, IN) is survived by her loving husband Manny Perez, her beautiful children Christina Hicks, Devin McCoy and Little Manny and her dog Sampson. She is also survived by her father Ron (June) Taylor; mother Darlene (Johnny) Hamilton; sister Rhonda (Mark) Bonner; niece, Jessica; and nephew, Remington "RJ"; best friends: Sally and Billy Reagor. She was preceded in death by her faithful dog, "Q", and will rest in peace with him. Charlene was an athletic, competitive woman with a passion for the Indianapolis COLTS and a simple dinner of steak and potatoes. She enjoyed an 18 year teaching career along with coaching volleyball, track and softball; and was a competitive player in softball and volleyball. "Charlie" will be remembered lovingly by family, friends, co-workers, and students alike. A memorial service will be held at the Hobart VFW Hall September 15, 2013 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for her children's college funds.
