Mrs. Moore was the youngest of four children to Richard Munroe and Letha Inez Chenault Gordy.
She was born in Rural Haskell, Texas. She lived in Amarillo most of her adult life.
She married Melvin Royce Moore February 1, 1964 in Amarillo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Royce, her parents, her siblings, daughter in-law Maryanne Pray Moore, Grandson Matthew Griffin and Great Grandson Tony Melvin Archer.
Survivors include two daughters Nancy Smith & husband Ron of Keller, Renee Wheeler & husband Joe of Amarillo; five sons Paul Moore & wife Donnella of Amarillo; Milton, James, Gary and Tom Griffin all of Arkansas. Her grandchildren Gabe Rodriguez of Dallas; Danielle Rodriguez of St. Petersburgh, FL; Hannah Hays and husband Cameron of Richardson; Jon Archer and wife Lindsy of Amarillo; Christina Toler and partner Andrew Viescas of Bay St. Louis, Ms; Brittani Worsham and husband Daniel of Amarillo. Mrs. Moore leaves behind 12 close great grandchildren Noah, Isaiah, Delilah, Loraliah, Juniper, Aden, Ava, Karsyn, Chloe, Jaxen, Alina and Caiden. All loved her very much. She also leaves behind many other grandchildren and great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends Carla Stevens, Dee Cook and Chuck & Debbie Moore.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to the many people at Georgia Manor Nursing Home that cared for and became family to our mother. She loved each of you just like her own. Also a special thank you to BSA Hospice of the Southwest for taking care of her in the last days.
