October 18, 1933 - March 7, 2020 Clive Cornett, age 86, of Viper, KY passed away on March 07, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. Clive was a retired diesel mechanic for Arch Coal. He is a member of Middle Fork Church of Christ. In his free time he loved gardening.
Clive was born on October 18, 1933 to the late Bethel Cornett and the late Mila Evans Cornett. He is also preceded in death by one son: Gary Allen Cornett; two brothers: Gene Cornett & Rand Coe Cornett; two grandchildren: Baby Cornett & Jordan Cornett and one great grandchild: Jimmy Allen Mitchell.
He leaves surviving his loving wife of 65 years Patsy Hall Cornett; one daughter: Edna Causey (Gary Wayne) of London, KY; two sons: Clive Dean Cornett (Bridgett) of Viper, KY & Bobby Rand Cornett of TN; one brother: Glenn Cornett (Shirley) of OH; four sisters: Wanda Hall of IN, Bobbie Zene Cornett of Viper, KY, Shirley Holder (George) of Viper, KY & Fern Collins (Cookie) of Viper, KY; daughter-in-law: Sharlene Cornett of Viper, KY; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Visitation will be from 5-8PM Monday March 09, 2020 at Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel
Funeral will be at 11AM Tue. March 10, 2020 at Maggard's Mtn. View Chapel with Rev. Mike Hall officiating
