Clara Naomi Sparks, 61, died at Reid Memorial Hospital early Saturday morning after an extended illness. She had lived many years in Boston and had formerly been employed by Belden Corp. She is survived by a son, Terry Sparks of Atlanta, Ga., and three sisters, Ethel McFarland of Richmond, Mary Caldwell of West Manchester, Ohio, and Lillian Spitler of Lewisburg, Ohio. Services for Mrs. Sparks will be at 11 a.m. Monday at The Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Swei-gart of the Church of the Open Door officiating. Burial will follow at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
