Tiffany Ann Wise, 43, of Edmond, OK, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 6, in Edmond after a long, hard battle with metastatic breast cancer. Tiffany was born in El Reno. She was the daughter of Cindy and Zak Elgamal of Marble Falls, TX, and Scott Fitzgerald of Newalla, OK. She grew up in Edmond from the age of 10 along with her younger brothers, Colby Fitzgerald and Tyler Sharum, who came into the family when Tiffany was 13. Tiffany graduated from Edmond North High School and then from University of Central Oklahoma in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Community Health. During her college years, she worked at Sutherlands hardware store where she met and married her husband Steve in May 2000. They built a loving home with their three children, Allyson, Drew, and Kinzie.

Tiffany went on to pursue a Masters of Public Health in Health Administration & Policy at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center, and completed all but her dissertation for a doctorate in Adult Education focusing on Health Literacy. Tiffany was a passionate lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology & Health Studies at University of Central Oklahoma where she touched the lives of hundreds of students. She pursued teaching throughout her brave fight against breast cancer and continued her devotion to educating others through online courses even when the disease tried to get the best of her. Tiffany was admired as a very special, loving, genuine woman with a kind heart who was filled with joy and wit. She was a valiant and courageous soul who was an inspiration to every person she encountered.
