GEORGE H. HARNED, 88, OF BURGIN SUCCUMBS
HARRODSBURG, KY Oct 24, Special George H. Harned, 88, of Burgin died at 1:30 o'clock Sunday morning at the Veterans Administration hospital in Murfreesboro, Tenn., after a long illness. A native of Boston, he was a member of Burgin Christian Church, a 32nd degree Scottish Mason and a veteran of World War 1. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Grace Stone Harned; a brother, Willard Harned, and a sister Mrs. George P. Jenkins, both of Boston. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, at Bruner and Sims Funeral Home by the Rev. Charles H. Traugott. Burial will be in Spring Hill cemetery. Pallbearers will be S. V. Perkins Jr., John Buck VanArsdaic. Jack Coleman, Everett Voris, Sam Bennett Jr. and Gerald Goodlett. The body is at the funeral home.
