Jacqueline "Jackie" Marie Cochran, 92, of Turner, Michigan passed away Monday morning, July 16, 2018 with her family by her side at home.

She was born September 17, 1925 to the late Austin J. and Lula (Lee) Forshey in Cuyahoga Falls, OH.

Jackie graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High in 1943. She married Howard W. Cochran, the love of her life, on January 6, 1946 at the Falls Methodist Church where she was a member.

Jackie was a homemaker while her children were young, after which she went to work at the Goodyear Bank in Akron, OH, where she managed the accounting department. She and Howard lived in Akron until 1974, when they relocated to Garden City, SC. Jackie lived there for almost 40 years before moving to Michigan to be with family due to ill health. She had been living for the last year and one-half with her son and daughter-in-law while under Hospice care.

Jackie is survived by her son, Bruce R. Cochran and his wife, Becky; grandchildren Jeffrey and his wife, Michelle of Northfield, OH, Jaime Cochran Paris and her husband, Tim of Mount Juliet, TN., Dr. Jason Cochran and his wife, Melissa of Mason, MI, Charles Elliot of Cleveland, OH, and Christine Elliot of IN.; seven great grandsons, and one more due any day.

Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Sharney Elliott, and brother, Neil Forshey.

Jackie's wishes were to unselfishly donate her body to benefit medical research and has been willed to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
