Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Friday at Rawls Funeral Home.

Janet Elizabeth Meadows Lane arrived January 21, 1935, the youngest of three born to Lucille Barham Meadows and Willie Meadows.
Janet grew up in Union City but she raised her family in Memphis, Tennessee where she worked and was involved in her church and community. She returned to Union City years later where she retired as a salesperson, volunteered with “Meals on Wheels” and was an avid Memphis basketball fan.
She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church family which she attended until her health failed. Fondly referred to as Mom, Momma, Grandma, “GG”, Sis and Aunt Liz, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Irene Meadows Brown and brother, Willie Meadows, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Gregory Lane (Tammy), Debra Lane Williamson (Amos), Phyllis R. Lane, Tony Lane and Kim Lane (Sharon) and a sister, Karen Meadows White.
She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and numerous friends, relatives and close family friends she considered “her kids”.
