ROANOKE, VA – Joyce Lynn Knight, 59, of Roanoke, VA, died Friday, March 6, 2020. Born March 24, 1960 in Princeton, she was the daughter of the late Edward Knight and Dorothy Cecil Knight.
Joyce Lynn had been an invalid since birth. She loved to go for rides and was never happier than when her family was all gathered around her. She was best known for her smile, laughter and love of singing. She attended Faith Central Fellowship Pentecostal Holiness Church in Salem, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Lonnie Knight, Willard Knight and Rena Knight; and extended family, Donnie Knight, Jr. and James Knight.
Survivors include siblings, Ronnie Knight and wife Carol of Waiteville, WV, Donnie Knight, Sr. of Chuckey, TN and Retta Barnette and husband Michael of Roanoke, VA; and extended family, Greg Knight, Shawn Barnette and wife Rebecca, Samuel Barnette and wife Karen, Thomas Barnette and wife Amy, Dacota, Darien, Jazlyn and Josiah Barnette, Jessy Knight and Laken, Kailyn and Kaleb Barnette.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Michael Barnette officiating. Interment will follow at Shrewsbury Cemetery in Beeson.
