Kristi Michele Owens Lee, 47, went home to Heaven, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Lake City Community Hospital.
Kristi was born on July 27, 1972 the daughter of the late Georgia Poston Dorrell (Olin Edgar) of Florence and Michael V. Owens (Teresa) of Texas.
She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and a very special Nana to her three precious grandchildren.
Kristi is survived by her husband, Robert Lee; her children, Tyler Grier (Jenna), Savanna Fennell (Ethan), Troy Fennell Jr., and Danielle Freeman (Bobby); five grandchildren, Jayse Edward Grier, Colt Bishop Grier, Evelyn Ann Grier, Annsley Freeman, and Koleston Freeman; her grandmother, Elaine Owens; two sisters, Keri O. Thompson (Mark) and Andrea O. Ray (Alex); a brother, Michael J. Owens; and a special niece and nephew, Taylor Thompson and Sky Thompson.
In addition to her mother, Kristi was preceded in death by her grandparents and a grandson, Baby Lyle Jamison Freeman.
A Home Going Celebration will be 3PM, Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Little Star Free Will Baptist Church, 2750 Lake City Highway, Lake City. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Thompson. Internment will follow in the Mill Branch Cemetery directed by the Hemingway Chapel of McKenzie Funeral Home.
The Lee family will receive family and friends prior to the service from 2-3PM in the church sanctuary.
