WHITESBORO- Mrs. Dorothy A. Turner, of The Mary D. Buck Memorial Apartments, 10 Clinton St., died Thursday, April 7, 1988, at The Faxton Hospital.

She was born in the Town of Western, a daughter of Howard and Jessie Smith Annis. She attended school in the Town of Western, graduated from Briar Hill HighSchool near Watertown and the Teacher's Training School in Boonville.

She was married to Warren E. Turner in 1924 in the Town of Westernville. He died in 1977.

Mrs. Turner taught at the South Hill School in the Town of Western and later in the Utica Public Schools. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Miss Arvilla Annis, Miss Jean Annis
both of Remsen. Mrs. William (Juanita) Clarke, of Ormond Beach, Florida, two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Floyd Annis of Westernville, Hubert and Bessie Annis, of Boonville
and Mrs. Charles (Vera) Annis of Rome and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at The Wells & Lloyd Funeral Home, 100 Main St., Whitesboro. Interment will be in Westernville Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday
7-9 and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9. Friends may consider the American Heart Association or
the ProspectVolunteer Ambulance Fund in her Memory.
