Mattie Pearl Taylor, 66 years old, a retired dietitian died Thursday in a Fort Worth, Texas hospital.
Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at First St. John Baptist Church. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Athens, Texas and attended Malakoff Public Schools. She was a 40 year resident of Fort Worth who had worked as a dietitian for 10 years at Trinity Oaks Hospital-the current Care Unit Hospital. She was a former member of First St. John Baptist Church in Fort Worth.
Survivors include her husband, Bailey Taylor of Fort Worth; two sons, Stanley S. Taylor of San Diego, California, and Larry Don Taylor Sr. of Fort Worth, Texas; five brothers, Ernest Sherman, Andrew Sherman Jr., X.L. Sherman of Dallas, Texas, and Douglas Sherman, Dewayne Sherman of California; four sisters, Maxine Watkins, Marjorie Sherman, and Linda Sherman of California, and Ethel Daniels of Terrel, Texas; and four grandchildren.
