Jack Hamilton Stephens (91) of Pasadena, MD passed away on February 19, 2020 in Glen Burnie, MD. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Virginia Nell Stephens (Sparks), Father of David Stephens and his wife Donna and Grandfather to Melanie Jean Stephens, who was the light of his life.

Jack was born August 19, 1928 at the family home in Albertville, AL to Alton Horace Stephens and Lillie Nell Stephens (Kay) who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Stephens, Wayne Stephens, Oran Stephens, sister Evelyn Norrell and is survived by his sister Ann Thornberry. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Jack served in the Korean War. After his discharge he received his Bachelors and Masters Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Alabama. He retired from Computer Sciences Corporation in the early 1990’s after many years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, his vegetable garden and time on the water. Jack was never one to sit still and busy right until the very end. He was loyal, supportive, and extremely generous. We are forever grateful to have had him in our lives and he will be dearly missed by all.

Family and friends are invited on Monday, February 24th, 2020 to the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. A graveside service will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Heartland Hospice in the name of Jack Stephens (link provided below)
