Upon graduating from nursing school, Christine met the love of her life, Army Sergeant, Chester Allen who was home on leave. They married on April 25, 1964. Christine was a devoted loving wife for over 56 years. She was a loving mother of four children, Danise, twins Darryl and Darren, and Dorian.
Christine spent all her life putting others first. She was always there to help, comfort, and strengthen those around her and did not hesitate to give medical assistance if needed. She enjoyed working in the maternity ward at Crittenton General Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, and Hutzel Women’s Hospital. She retired early from nursing to devote more time to raising her children. Christine passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
