Mr. Allen was a retired furniture and antique dealer. He worked at Magnolia Furniture and Antique for 48 years. He also worked at the Morning Advocate. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, serving in Germany. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 214 and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Magnolia, where he was a deacon, song leader and secretary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Corin Allen, Sr. and Lena Allen; two brothers, two sisters and a grandson.
He was survived by his wife, Wanda Wayne Lord Allen of McComb; one son, Loyd Allen and wife Peggy of Jackson; three daughters, Linda Andrews and husband Jim, and Wanda Forman and husband John, all of Magnolia, and Belva Jones and husband Larry of Florence; one brother, Clifton Allen of McComb; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
