Services for Jacob Richard Maness will be today (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. at the Liberty United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Scotts Hill Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Maness, 85, died Monday afternoon at the Hardin County General Hospital after a short illness. He was a retired farmer.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Gladys Montgomery Maness; two sons, Don and Ralph Maness, both of Scotts Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Montgomery of Sardis and Mrs. Gertie Montgomery of Scotts Hill; a brother, Ervin Maness of Sardis; and five grandchildren.
