Colleen was born in Page, Ky to Ernest and Dorcas Wilder. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a business degree. She was married twice, first to William D. Mullins, who remained a lifelong friend and second to Dr. Jerry King who died in 1976. She had one daughter, Rene, one grandson, David and a son in law, Steven, all who loved her very much. She loved politics, comparative religion and a good debate. And she has a wicked sense of humor. To say she will be missed is like trying to fill the Milky Way with a single grain of sand.
