David Paul Greenberg was a Boy Scout who, along with two friends, Mike Early (memorial #20764767) and Mike LaNoue (memorial #20764827) died on Mt. Wrightson (also known as Mt. Baldy) in November of 1958 in a freak autumn snowstorm. He was 12 years old to the day. A bright, energetic and friendly boy, his sense of determination led him on that day to try and reach the summit of the mountain. He and his two friends did not return alive. The events of that day are chronicled in Cathy Coltrin Hufault's excellent book "DEATH CLOUDS ON MT. BALDY, TUCSON'S LOST TRAGEDY", available from AMAZON.COM, and several other online and storefront booksellers. Ms. Hufault is the sister of surviving scout Ralph Coltrin.
