Joshua “Josh” Clay Brooks, 40, of Lubbock was born June 9, 1979 in Lubbock. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He graduated from Monterey High School. Josh was a very good person and very intelligent. He was good working on electronics.

Josh went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memories are his father: Vic & wife Jan Brooks of Bandera, Tx, his mother: Cindy Berryhill Pirtle & husband Hal of New Braunfels, sister: Stephanie Brooks of Round Rock, step-brother: Taylor Dane Shellman of Lubbock, and grandparents: Doyle “Tootie” and Wanda Brooks of Lubbock.

Services will be at 11:00am Friday March 6, 2020 at Wilsons’ Funeral Directors Chapel in Wolfforth with Pastor Calvin Gray officiating. Entombment will follow at Wilsons’ Funeral Directors Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
