Kevin Michael Cooper, 9, of Joplin, Missouri, son of John and Christina Cooper, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020.
Kevin entered this life on May 9, 2010, in Joplin, Missouri. He was a 4th grade student. He enjoyed riding horses and four wheelers, hunting, fishing and Star Wars. He attended Forest Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Barbara Cooper; and maternal grandfathers, Arlen Dale Shilling and John Taylor.
Kevin is survived by his parents, John and Christina Cooper of the home; two brothers, Acey Cooper and Corey Cooper both of Diamond, Missouri; two sisters, Victoria Coale of Belton, Missouri and Katherine Cooper of Joplin; maternal grandmother, Dorsa Brashears of Diamond; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2020 at Forest Park Baptist Church in Joplin, Missouri, with Dr. John Swadley officiating. Burial will follow in Stone Cemetery with Acey Cooper, Corey Cooper, Zach Courtney and Brandon Coale serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary in Joplin, Missouri.
