Norma Jean (Barry) Sanders, 80, of Levelland passed away peacefully from long term health complications on March 1, 2020 surrounded by loved ones in her daughter’s home in Lubbock. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2020, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
She was born in Vernon, Texas on November 2, 1939 to Zera Inez and Guy Barry, Sr. Norma married Edwin Sanders on January 6, 1956 in Levelland.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Zera Inez Barry; husband, Edwin Ray Sanders; brother, Guy Barry, Jr.; sisters, Mary Linda Barry and Carlita Parker; and grandsons, Rusty Sanders and Chris Peppin.
She is survived by her sisters, Sandra Kay Nail and Carol Ann Spears, both of Vernon; children, Barbara Marrow and husband, Gene of Lubbock, Danny Sanders and wife, Patty of Big Spring, James Sanders and wife, Wendy of Farmersville, and Amanda Mulkey and husband, Jody of Sundown; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
