KUBAN, Brett Glen March 3, 2010.

Preceded in death by his father, Albert William Kuban, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Chaires Kuban; children, Chance Chaires Kuban and Amanda Maria Kuban; all of Nashville; mother, Bettie Tucker Kuban of Donelson; brothers, Mark Archibald Kuban, Dallas, TX, Albert William Kuban III, Franklin; sister, Kimberly Ann Vandevender of Nashville and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins of the Tucker, Kuban, Chaires and Vandevender families.

Brett served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Truxtun, was nationally ranked in wheelchair tennis, and was retired from the US Postal Service. Known by his family as the Hambone Champion, Brett was witty and supportive of his family who will serve as Pallbearers where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, March 8th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Madison. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Interment Spring Hill Cemetery.
