On February 18, 2020, family matriarch Carol Jane (Janie) Vines went home to be with the Lord. A long-time member of Liberty Baptist church and an Eastern Star, Carol spent 21 years serving as a loving spouse in the US Army. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Christine Winter, her brother Johnny Winter, her husband Robert Vines, and her daughter Liz Vines Wade. She is survived by her brother Bobby Winter, her children Jeff Vines and Kathy Vines, her son-in-law Tracy Wade, her nieces Wendy Winter and Kim Cooley, her grandchildren Wesley Perkins (Julia), Bubba Prescott (Nikki), Janie Davidson (Michael), Daniel Vines (Meagan), Mitchell Prescott, Amy Vines, Brandy Crist (Justin), Bridget Wade, and Brandon Wade, a multitude of beloved great grandchildren, and a great, great granddaughter. She was loved and respected by many and touched the heart of everyone she met.
