Keith was a happy and outgoing child. He loved to play sports and prayed basketball and football his junior and senior year at Reynolds High School.
After high school Keith moved to Virginia. Later he moved to upstate New York. After a short period there, he moved back to Asheville two years ago.
Keith became ill in 2019. He fought a hard battle until February 28, 2020.
He is survived by his two daughters, Keona and Kaylyn; mother Judy B. Allan; brothers Bobby and Bo (Sonya); special friend Yolandra; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Ellen.

A service will be held at Brown's Temple ( 32 Phifer Street, Asheville ) at one o'clock the afternoon of Wednesday, March 4, 2020.
