Slater, Richard E. of 30 William St. South Chatham passed away at St. Joseph Hospital on Monday June 8th, 1987. Born in Leamington 74 years ago son of the late Ernest Carlyle Slater and Sabra N Heatherington. He was a retired employee of Foley and Gillanders in Chatham. He is survived by his wife the former Jennie Brando, three sons David of Blenheim, Richard of Chatham, Wray of Chatham, a daughter Mrs. Ron (Dianna) Harrett of Chatham, two sisters Irma Garton of Leamington and Betty Wilson of Detroit. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and a dear friend Corrinne. A sister Maxine predeceased. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
