NEW CASTLE--William Arnold Cross, 73, passed away Mar. 2,2020 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital-Muncie.
Arnold was born July 18,1946 in Whitsone, KY a daon of James Blain and Zella Rose (Smith) Cross.
William was known as Arnold by many people. He graduated from Chrysler High Scholl in 1965 and just before graduation he started woriking from Chrysler Corp in the Forge Shop. He retired from work after 40 years.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife Judy (Chilton) Cross; son Robert (Emily) Cross; 2 grandsons Seth and Nicholas Cross; 1 grandchild Kobe Cross all of New Castle; 4 siblings Sally (Robert) Bullard, Helen Criswell, Curtis Cross, Edith Cox.
Preceded by his parents ; 3 sisters Mildred Swell, Mary Rust, Nancy Isenhower; a brother James Cross.
Visitation will be Friday Mar. 6,2020 and services at 10 a.m. Sat. Mar. 7,2020 at Sproles Family Funeral Home. Masonic Lodged #175 F & AM to begin with honors.
