She is survived by 2 children, Richard (Karen) Meyer of Glandorf and Sue (Carl) Stechschulte of Toledo; 6 grandchildren, Michelle (Mickey) Frame, David (Lisa) Stechschulte, Brad (Emily) Stechschulte, Kathy (Meyer) Manley, Christine Meyer, and Doug Meyer; 11 great-grandchildren, Abby (Jack) Dalton, Megan Frame, Zachary Frame, Hannah Frame, Ella Manley, Ava Manley, Alex Stechschulte, Mason Stechschulte, Addison Stechschulte, Brooke Stechschulte, and Tyler Stechschulte; 1 great-great grandchild, Max Dalton and one on-the-way. She was also preceded in death by a son, Frederick Meyer; 2 brothers, Albert and Donald Hermiller; and 3 sisters, Anna Kuhlman, Mary Kuhlman, and Lucille Spangler.
Helen was a retired secretary, homemaker and a very active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic. She was a member and past officer of Catholic Ladies of Columbia and also served on township elections.
A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Leipsic. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME and from 10 a.m. until the time of mass on Thursday at St. Mary’s Parish Center, Leipsic. There will be a CLof C rosary at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s School or to Habitat for Humanity.
