August William March, age 72, of Manassas, VA passed away on February 2, 2020 in his home surrounded by family. He was born on February 3, 1947 in Appleton, Wisconsin to the late John and Jane March.

August also known as “Bill” was not only a husband for his wife but a best friend, they spent 52 memorable years together. He joined the Marine Corp at the age of 18 retiring a Vietnam Era War Veteran. After his first retirement he started a job as a systems analyst for the U.S mining industry followed by working for Freddie Mac. In his later years he did individual contract work. Bill loved fishing, gambling, and spend time with his family. Bill was a very giving individual and has helped dozens of people in his life that were once just strangers to him, his heart was filled with nothing but love for everyone. He was a man of very strong faith in which god enabled him to get through many struggles in his life journey.

August is survived by his wife, Teresa; Brother, Larry March; Sisters, Janet Wright, Kelly White, and Barbara Navarro; Son, Frankie; Daughter, Victoria; Grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Sara, and Randy; Great-Grandchildren, Alexis, Harmony, Wyatt, Abigail, Brendan, and Benjamin.
