Linda was a homemaker, did bookkeeping for Chapman Masonry, and was also employed for 3 years at Perfecto. She was an excellent cook who loved hosting and making memories. Linda had a great sense of humor and in her earlier years enjoyed traveling. Most of all, she loved taking care of her family and photographing their life experiences.
Linda is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gene Chapman; son, Dale (Susan) Chapman; daughters, Shelly (Russ) Atkins and Jeanelle (Roscoe) Dorsey; siblings, Windle (Honey) Knight, Brenda (Paul) Sharpe, Shirley (Richard) Nixon, Doris (Gary) Jones, and Timmy (Linda) Knight; and six grandchildren, Jacob & Olivia, Tanner & Austin, and Devon & Jaelyn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Knight.
Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 6, 2020 at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Teller officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
