Susan Joy Palmer, age 56, of Honey Brook, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born in West Chester, PA, on December 22, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Samuel R. and Edna Warren Forrester. Mrs. Palmer was vice president of the family-owned Meineke Car Care Centers in Exton and Paoli, PA, and worked in the office of County Propane. She was a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church, Lewisville. Mrs. Palmer loved her family and enjoyed being together with them for family dinners. A classic car enthusiast, she enjoyed her classic cars and attending car shows. She loved traveling with her husband and going to their summer home on the Elk River. Survivors include her husband of 39 years, William S. Palmer, Jr.; children, William S. Palmer III (Jennifer), Gap, PA, Stacy R. Anderson (Robert), Ephrata, PA, and Joseph E. Palmer, Honey Brook, PA; grandchildren, Grace, Mary, Hannah, and William IV Palmer, and Abigail, Naomi, and Hope Anderson; and siblings, Kathleen Forrester and Eric Forrester (Charlyn). Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, MD, where visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. John’s Methodist Cemetery, Lewisville. hickshomeforfunerals.com
