Frankie was united in marriage to Virgil Jordan on July 31, 1950, at Salem, Arkansas, and to this union, four children were born.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Virgil, and by her parents Verna (Smith) and Emmott Wood.
Frankie is survived by three sons, Danny Jordan and wife, Marcella, of Jefferson City, MO, Tommy Jordan of Licking, MO, and Vernon Jordan and wife, Renee, of DeSoto, MO; one daughter, Shelba Nicholas, and husband, Dan, of Chugiak, AK. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one sister, Kay, of Yuma, AZ, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Frankie and Virgil lived on the farm in Shannon County and raised their family there. After her husband Virgil passed away, she continued living on the farm until she moved to Washington State to live with her daughter, Shelba, and husband, Dan. After almost five years, Frankie then moved back to Missouri and was a resident at California Care Center, where they did a great job of caring for her, until her passing.
Frankie had a quick remark to almost everything and made friends wherever she went. She had a way of endearing herself to others. We love her and will miss her but thankful that we will see her again due to her acceptance of Jesus Christ as her Savior. Love you Mom; see you when we get to heaven.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Yarber Mortuary chapel, Eminence, Missouri with Rev. Randy Ferguson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. Friday evening, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Flatwoods Cemetery, Eminence.
