Melvin R. Bowen, age 79, of Canal Winchester, passed away at his home on March 1, 2020. He was born September 23, 1940 to the late Jacob and Mary Bowen in South Perry, Ohio. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Bowen and 6 siblings. Surviving him is his sister, Mary Stebleton and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Friends and family my visit from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, Ohio. The service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ed Sharp officiating. Interment will be in Harrison Township Cemetery.
