Funeral services for Alfred C. Jenson, 78, of West Fargo, ND, were held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fargo, March 23. He died March 19, 1994, at Heartland Hospital, Fargo.

Alfred was born April 13, 1915, at Jessie, ND, the son of Simon and Nanna (Fredrickson) Jenson. He grew up and attended schools in the Jessie area. He worked for area farmers and also for a Wisconsin farmer for several years near Eau Claire.

He married Eunice Helen Knutson July 16, 1944 at Moorhead.
After his marriage they farmed until 1948 when they moved to Fargo and he worked for Western Fuel and Great Northern Railroad. He worked for Ames Sand and Gravel for 23 years before retiring in 1979. Eunice died in 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Claude) Harris, and Arlene (Ted) Pease; one son, Steven (Kimberly) Jenson; two sisters; Sylvia McCulloch of Hilldale, WI, and Gertrude Haakenson of Moorhead, MN; one brother, Eugene (Vivian) Jenson of Velva, ND; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
